American-Made Fourth of July T-Shirts and Other Apparel

Patriotic Fourth of July Tees

On July 4th, 1776, the Second Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence, which officially announced the separation of the colonies from Great Britain. As far as Independence Day as a national holiday, July 4th was made a federal holiday in 1870, but it wasn't until 1938 when it was made a paid federal holiday.

The Fourth of July celebrates everything that it means to be American and what it takes to make this the greatest country in the world. America is a beautiful place with an undefeated set of values which have stood the test of time. Stand up for yourself, your country, and, most importantly, the futures of our kids here in the United States.

What Does Patriotism and the Fourth of July Mean to You?

Patriotism, to me, is first understanding the founding principles that exist in a document, which we are obligated to uphold simply by being blessed to live here. From there, living with those values daily, that’s being patriotic.

Patriotism can mean "standing for what you believe in," but if what someone believes is in conflict with a country’s founding principles, that ain’t patriotism. That isn’t, nor will it ever be, what our flag stands for.

Patriotism is everyday American citizens knowing their rights and the obligation to stand ready against the threat of tyranny. It’s raising our kids to understand the concept of respect, honor, and being a positive contribution to society. It’s service in our military, police departments, fire, and EMS. Patriotism is, at any given moment, putting the good of “the people” above all, and being willing to sacrifice for it.

Patriotism is being willing to stand up for another’s rights, regardless of our own opinion. It's fighting for something greater than ourselves, even when nobody is watching.
