Made In USA T Shirts | Over A Million Made

Over a million American Made Shirts

14 years ago we started this company in our attic.  We had a mission back then, a mission that hasn't skipped a beat.  It was to offer a Made In USA t-shirt as an option to all this imported stuff that floods the market.

Well, we stuck with that mission.  Because of that, we've shipped out over a million shirts to Americans here in the USA.  When we say over a million shirts,  we are talking every shirt sewn here in the USA by an American job.

Why is Made In USA so important?

Growing up as a kid in Cleveland Ohio, I watched the entire steel industry get sent overseas.  I watched a city that once thrived, fall to its knees as companies like LTV Steel faded into the night.  Growing up seeing that made me realize how important American manufacturing is, well, to America.
  • Keeps Americans working
  • Invests back into American businesses
  • Builds a revolving ecosystem HERE
  • Reduced dependency on foreign manufacturing
  • Builds strong community at home
  • Maintains infrastructure & capability

How is a Made In USA t-shirt different than an imported garment?

Imagine if our Made In USA t-shirts were built overseas.  First off, that "Made In USA" label would be gone.  In addition, every step prior to printing our tag in the neck or design on the shirt, that would all be done overseas.  It may seem like "just a shirt", but look at these steps where American businesses play a part.  These steps would be overseas if we decided to be an imported brand.
  1. Fabric Development: Our fabric is woven here in the USA at American mills.  These rolls of fabric are woven from spools of yarn.
  2. Dying and Color: Our fabric is dyed here in the USA.  It's a step that comes after the weaving process at a totally different facility with it's own ecosystem of American workers.
  3. Cutting: Back at the Apparel manufacturers HQ, fabric is laid out and cut into pieces (parts) that make up a garment.
  4. Sewing: Depending on the facility we work with, they either sew in house or leverage a network of local sewing shops here in the USA.
  5. Logistics: Every time a yarn, fabric, parts, or garment move, someone needs to move it.  A commitment to Made in America keeps these jobs here in the USA.
  6. Pattern Development: All our garments start as an idea.  Those ideas are then sampled over and over again until we are happy with it.  Once satisfied with the fit of a garment, patterns are made.  Patterns show the cut shop above where to dissect the rolls of fabric to make up every piece in a shirt.  Patterns utilize fabric in a way that reduces waste.  It's a lot like a puzzle.

Now imagine you imported the shirt.  Its impact on American jobs would start about right now.  A local print shop may throw tags and a design on it, it gets sent to a warehouse to ship out to your door.  All those jobs above?  They would be overseas.  We aren't cool with that.

This is why we keep our t-shirts MADE IN THE USA

We don't do it because it's easy, it ain't.  We make our t-shirts in the USA because we believe in America.  We believe a country that loses its ability to manufacture for itself also loses capability, independence, and identity.

We are a patriotic brand. To us, patriotism isn't just something you print on a shirt, it's a commitment to America.  It's what we've been doing since day one.
